And JR's signees don't back up your point at all. All the ******** some were doing claiming all he'd sign would be Rudy types from FCS, G5, or Div 2 has been completely blown out of the water.

He's signing good players from all over, including players from other P-4 schools who all had other options. I seriously doubt Raynor's being paid on the cheap. That guy's been getting P-4 offers every year he's played at Arky St.

There's no way he's getting this current portal haul without offering attractive NIL. And he's not finished. More good players are on the way.

dude, I’m not going to argue with you. Whether TJ or CJR, they’re both paying “enough” to recruit and retain. I don’t disagree. My whole point, and then I’m going to ignore you, is that our overall NIL and what we can and do pay any given player is not the same as a team in the P2. Have a nice evening. Go Cyclones.

I had an ICU nurse this fall who was a massive Mississippi State fan. The way he described it was similar (Ole Miss being the much douchier school). He definitely steered me to rooting against Ole Miss.

All the FCS/D2 guys ISU has gotten have really nice credentials. All Americans, All conference, or Freshmen All Americans. Plus a Colorado school of mines center is probably a pretty smart dude to have running the Oline. Some of the MAC guys ISU got were in the mix to go to Indiana and Oklahoma. Im actually shocked they haven't gotten at least 1 Jackrabbit from SDSU yet.

Yes, it is. I am an Odd Ball that I prefer Alabama and Iowa State, as the Alabama-Auburn dynamics in the State of Alabama are similar to the Iowa-Iowa State dynamics in the State of Iowa. Basically, Alabama and Iowa are more similar, and Auburn and Iowa State are more similar. I just look at it as being an Iowa State fan has taught me to be a more humble and better Alabama fan.

That is the whole point! People think he is trying to save all of CFB! He is not. The only thing he cares about is TT, period. The only way it works out as good for us or anyone is if it is good for TT.

People here have the delusion that he is spending all the money on TT, that he is lobbying congress, that all his ideas and plans are for the good of CFB. They are not, its about what is good for TT, and only TT.

Am I faulting him for taking care of his own, nope. But I dont have any delusions he would sacrifice everyone and anyone in the process too.
