I don't know what you want, the Auburn guy looks like a good get, but he's young and hasn't played much college offense from the sound of it.

I clicked on the box score for 4 random conference game during his freshman season and Tyrese started all of them. As did Weiler-Babb.
Haliburton still handled the ball a lot that season. I would consider them more co-PGs. Weiler-Babb averaged 4 assists per game and Tyrese averaged 3.6. You can see all the stats here.

This is exactly why those Blue Chip stats are a load of bull. They only get reevaluated when a player leaves. That's why guys like Will McDonald, Hakeem Butler, Breece Hall would never get a 5 star rating at ISU but if they leave then all of the sudden they are

People on here were panicking, begging for some bigger name recruits because they dont thing who we have gotten so far is good enough.
We go out and land some big time transfers, and you say, meh looks good, but we have to wait and see if he is good.
What do you want? What will make you say, hey seems like CJFR is on the right track? Hey we are getting some dudes in Portal. Hey we might be ok.
Seriously, there are a ton of people on here panicking because we didnt fill out our roster on day one of the portal, then when we started getting guys, they werent good enough, now its well we still dont know.
At some point you may have to take a breath and say hey things are going to be ok, things are coming together. We may not know how this all works out, but it looks like we are on the right track.

I would guess most of them are going to be backups or Penn State is gonna have a rough year next year. They could have gotten better players out of the portal elsewhere than 90% of the guys he took. It shows how loyal Campbell actually is because I might have taken 5 guys from ISU with me to a place like PSU
CJR is cooking. We are 3-4 weeks in and we are mostly on par with any class the CMC was getting.
Looking at the roster of returning players prior to the portal opening up, how many have committed to returning without entering the portal at this point? I am curious how many roster spots that CJR has to fill. Here's a thought, when high school players are recruited what per centage stay for their whole career and successfully become contributors on the field? 50% or so? I personally think that players that have some playing time at the next level can be evaluated far better and actually with the amount of availability in the portal, this may work out better than Cyclone fans expect.
