Casey's is bigger than Culver's, right?Probably depends on the social media following of the player. If you've got millions of followers the FMV is going to be different than if you've got 10k. There is a fairly well-established market for impressions/social media reach. I am under no naive impression that boundaries won't be pushed here, but I do think it's more complicated than "FMV = what one company/person is willing to pay".
Anthony Palano committing to Boston College. That’s a big bummer. Believe he followed Rogers from SDSU to WSU. Figured he was an auto Clone commit. Would’ve been a great anchor at LB over the next couple years.
Blunt but fairBlack kid, right? So, not Holy Cross Iowa.
Football wasn’t going to cannibalize basketball. Coaches want to be able to compete at the highest level. That’s isn’t going to change with Rogers or T.J. They will also want more, which is why we need to fill the deficit with a gambling tax or student fees.If we are to believe the December 5 Premium Board Crashout, MC didn't believe he should be held to a rev share budget and wanted to be free to hit up ISU donors for his own purposes despite a looming budget hole threatening the entire department those donors had not stepped in to fill.
Some may think giving the football coach full extra-budgetary autonomy over player spending was worthwhile, but it's easy to see that hunger for more never goes away and it ultimately cannibalizes other important programs, including men's basketball.
It was time.
He will get 4-5 million from LSU. ASU cannot afford that.Is any starting Big 12 QB not transferring? What's the deal with the guy from ASU? I thought they had a nice size NIL fund?
Hot take: Iowa State will be better in 2026 than they were in 2025CJR: “I didn’t come here to lose.”
I think they start out slow, gotta a lot of new pieces to put togetherHot take: Iowa State will be better in 2026 than they were in 2025
There was talk that Jaxon Potter could come from WSU. Seems unlikely to me since he got benched at WSU this year, but maybe the fact they left that entire offensive staff behind could help. Are we looking at any other QB's in the portal?
Im keeping this opinion close to my chest, but i also kind of wonder that as wellHot take: Iowa State will be better in 2026 than they were in 2025
Damn. I really wanted him. He stood out in a great way in the little I watched of their bowl game. Kid was super quick, and made some great plays. I’m extremely disappointed we didn’t get him.Anthony Palano committing to Boston College. That’s a big bummer. Believe he followed Rogers from SDSU to WSU. Figured he was an auto Clone commit. We took Smith & Exline right off the bat, so they were priorities at the LB position.Well shoot, I talked to a family friend the other night and they said Anthony was having conversations with the coaching staff about coming to ISU...I thought for sure he was going to.

Nothing wrong with having high hopes and a positive outlook...but really all we know for sure at this point about next season is the schedule!Im keeping this opinion close to my chest, but i also kind of wonder that as well
His HS rating maybe, but his rating dropped from 91 HS to 85 as a transfer.Best OL recruit in program history??
