***Official portal tracker thread***

That's just a crystal ball prediction, he hasn't committed to transferring here. Unless I'm missing something.

Would love to hear who your “better” option was

His back up...and since the portal just opened today, who knows who'll be available.

And since I don't spend my time pouring over the all 22s of every D1 football program, I can't give you a scouting report of all the better options.

I just know I've seen this dude play and wasn't impressed. He throws the ball better, they beat ISU.

His backup, who has no experience whatsoever?

Are you just looking at former offer lists from when they were in HS?

I'm with you, he's an ok option. I won't hate or love the move if it happens.

If his backup wants to come, great. But id be more excited to have a dynamic playmaker with 3 years of experience. If the backup was better, he would'nt have been the backup.

Yes, because no back up is good...or has had to sit behind an upperclassmen or established QB.

Did you watch Trinidad Chambliss last night? He started the year as a back up.

Josh Flowers was 2 of 6 on the year passing with a TD and an Int.

Weighing in as well---as I see it, CMC took year to year ISU FB to a respectable level, but his pitch of winning Big 12 championships, getting into the CFP or even winning a game in the CFP were FAR from ever being achieved. And, this year losing to CU, ASU, etc. with the OC calls and other coaching errors which did not maximize the opportunities presented in those games indicates to me that CMC is going to have a very difficult time getting Pedo State to where the fans want it to be. Now hearing that there seemed to be a push by CMC to "force" JP into hiring Mouser as HC by what CMC might have said to the players during his "farewell" speech convinces me that he still does not have high level FB "CEO" level skills.
Come on man. He won the Big 12 regular season in round robin conference play and went to two Big 12 championships. It’s just dumb as hell to say we were “FAR” from winning a Big 12 championship.

They had every bit the culture problem we did.

They got a coach…but so do we!
Just stop with Indiana. They had the largest cash infusion in all of CFB the last couple years. Mark Cuban and Lucas Oil “created” the new culture. Are we able to pay a new coach $8 mil a year? Nope.

Well then he doesn't stand a chance of beating out Connor Moberly.

Rogers is building a roster, not filling positions. He needs to build a QB room, a WR room, etc. IMO Cyclone fans need to sit back and see what we look like 3 weeks from now instead of critiquing every player added.

Was really hoping for a better option. Wasn't impressed with his ability to throw the ball. Missed some wide open receivers against ISU.
You also need to understand we need multiple qbs from the portal. Just like most positions we will be getting some that are not going to be starters, too.

We have to wait and see how it all plays out, some of these guys are going to replace the backups and development players that left.

We need 105 players. 4/5ths of those are not starters.
