And Iowa State got a near death penalty for bus tickets.

There are like 2, maybe 3 hills I’m prepared to die on. Dan McCarney earning the right to leave ISU on his terms is one of them.
Rhoads was who ISU needed at the time, but I agree it was likely he was never going to turn the corner. I would have given him another year or two, but that’s about the only evidence needed to show I’d be a terrible AD.

Started watching Two Guys this morning.... and CW starts off talking down to the fans basically and saying they don't understand how everything works like he does. Then he gets all teary eyed again when Hassel brings up Brezina leaving. And then to top it all off... Hassel starts bringing up AGAIN how JP should have hired Mouser. WTF? I turned it off. Maybe I'll watch the rest later if I feel like I can stomach it.

Pretty sure he wasn't a coordinator under Rogers, I think he was the Idaho coach when Rogers was given the SDSt job.
He won at Idaho he's winning at New Mexico he'd be someone I'd at least interview.

He kept talking after the ISU/Iowa basketball game how ISU fans are scared of the future of Iowa basketball with McCollum...I think he's scared of the future of ISU football with Rogers.
Penn State will NOT be wearing black. At ISU, Matt was able to tell JP what he wanted, and for the most part JP allowed it. At Penn State... Penn State will be telling Matt how things are going to be. They will not allow him to break their traditions... even the criminal ones!

I've had a soft spot for WSU since Leach was there, and I gotta say... as glad as I am to get these commitment flips, I can't help but feel a little bad for them.
This hasn’t been brought up much, but with Rogers wanting to eventually get back to the Midwest - if ISU passed on Rogers there’s a chance he ends up at Iowa. If he has a successful run with ISU and KF’s successor takes a step back…there’s a what if for them.
LOL. Can you imagine the reaction here if we lost a coach to Iowa?
