I am also aView attachment 164573m astounded by all our DB's and Safetys leaving, when they clearly hope other coaches are looking at tape like this.

Other coaches aren't worried about a couple blown plays. They look for talent, and our DB room had truckloads of that for a long time.

Not enough conversation on the offense and defense schemes completely changing.

I have little concerns on defense, going off CJR's and Bobbit's WSU record/results (1/4 the resources too)

Offensive scheme is the biggest unknown, especially the line and playmakers

Entering the portal doesn't mean you leave. Some might enter it to just look for a better fit, not necessarily for a huge payday. Many obviously do though

Don’t know who does the ratings for On3, but it’s interesting that ISU has 10 guys in the top 200 and WSU has zero. Some of these ratings are questionable as they have Manske at our top four guy at #38 and Black as our 16th guy at #429. Behind Tompkins at #425.

I am not sure how to reasonably predict the upcoming 2026 season with the change of coaching staff and players. Also, the teams we play will have many changes which makes win - loss predications even more complicated. I feel bad for sports publications like Athlon. I am not sure how they will keep up with and make sense of all the changes when previewing the upcoming season. Nonetheless, I guess its still interesting to speculate on the potential win / loss for each season. But more than ever, it's a crapshoot.
