If you're talking about Fotualii, he's from Washington. Very few washington recruits got offers in general. It's not a strong bed for known talent so scouting departments don't waste time. That area is gobbled up by Oregon St, Washington and WSU. And his immediate comparisons around him for the state are washington (a p4 school) commits. You're simply expecting too much from a coach who joined after national signing day. Getting any recruits at all at this point is more than expected and ahead of schedule.
Yeah, Francois (#32 RB, #5 in MN), Fotualii, and Kalsbeck are the only guys without P4 offers.

That makes sense about the Pacific NW guys being more likely to slip through the cracks.

Though with Lupoi coming back to Berkeley from Oregon that might be less likely in coming years.

Campbell was getting the 60th-80th best OL ranked commits that were 3 stars. We just got that wardon guy that was what? The 177th ranked OL and really really low 3 star. There is a difference between 3 stars lol. All I’m saying is that these type of commits are what MAC teams are getting. Bowling green in Ames this year will be an absolute dog fight… ****, SEMO will be a fight.
Kind of like Ark St in Jonesboro?

Campbell's O-line recruits were not all that good. I don't think any of them over 10 years played in the NFL. Travis doesn't count because he was a one year transfer.

Sounds like you would have passed on David Montgomery. No. 74 running back in the 2016 class. .8348 composite. 3 star.

Evaluation and development. I am comfortable with Coach Jimmy Rogers in building a good team.

I’m sure it’s been discussed, but do we have a decent shot at the Ark St QB? Any confirmed contact?

You do realize that 99% of 2026 D1 football recruits are committed to schools at this point. CJR has little choice other than signing guys from WSU that he recruited for his system and has a relationship with or re-recruiting guys from the Iowa State 2026 class to stay committed. It appears to me he has done a great job of this. Obviously, the 2027 class should be higher ranked to be viewed as successful. If you actually think we will be playing these freshman against Bowling Green this fall you are misguided. Lets wait for more roster announcements and our transfer class to see who will play this fall.

The name Tyler Burnstein is decidedly less Somoan sounding.

6-4, 250…but with a 6-11 wingspan? Hopefully he wants to get out of Arizona for college.

Not sure if any of the fellers @BigTurk mentioned are interested, but I’d sure like to get @BCClone to give his take. Would the previous staff maybe have had reservations?

And of course who could forget you, @flycy ! Don’t be shy, expose us to your little shtick. Say, what is the origin of shtick anyway?
Burnstein….not knowing much but he may not have celebrated Christmas.

We should have our sights set higher. Numbers wise he was worse than Becht with shittier competition and Becht was not a quality Big 12 quarterback this year.

I don't follow the obsession with Raynor.

He caused the Cyclones tons of problems as Arkansas State played right with us. We are the ****** competition he played against.

Definitely more than a coinflip’s chance at least one person on his paternal side wasn’t a gentile.

That being said, we celebrated Christmas only because of my wife, and she is 100% Askenazi.
Funny. We celebrate Christmas on my side and to brag a bit I make great latkes and sufganiyot

So back to the issue at hand.

Are our other guys negotiating with the new staff for NIL money?

Are they waiting on offers from our staff?

Or should we assume they’re waiting til Jan 2nd and do dual announcements of bolting with their new school?
