I doubt current P4 starter-level guys are being advised to leave to make room for FCS-level guys.

You are making the assumption its about athletic ability. It could simply be personality conflicts. We dont know whats going on behind closed doors.

They were a 6-6 team playing a G5 schedule.

Look, I like the upside that Rogers has as well but all he did at Washington State was bring the middle part of his SDSU roster to Pullman and that was good enough to be incredibly average because there isn't much gap between the MVFC and the G5.

Hopefully he uses his now increased resources to bump up the talent level significantly from what he's got a Washington State. Trying to bring that roster to the Big 12 is a great way to finish 13th in the Big 12.

News flash, Washington State is a G5 school. They were gutted. Most coaches would have gone 2-10 or worse if they were in Jimmys spot last year.

Why doesn’t isu athletic department just say, our whole entire team is entering the transfer portal. “Forever a cyclone!” I understand wanting to go elsewhere but it gets quite old hearing “forever a cyclone” when you are in fact choosing to not be a cyclone. Just saying

I’m not sure highlighting how far mid/high-level P4 football players have to fall before eventually settling in more or less where most people peak is the comeuppance you think it is.
