Hear me out. Everybody Calm down and quit yapping. If Jimmy got Wazzu to a bowl game and recruited kids to go play against Oregon State (Twice) and Colorado State, he'll be able to entice kids to play p4 ball.
His recruiting classes were terrible...
He got a Wazzu team to 6-6 in the worst spot they've ever been. I dont care if his recruiting classes were terrible, he got a team to sucsess in one of the worst markets (currently) in cfb.
If we roll with that returning Washington St. team we're finishing 4-8. I can't handle losing to Iowa again.

You guys are missing the point. That washington state team had a 2 million dollar budget and its first year ever with the pac 12 completely dissolved so much uncertainity and basically regulated to a g5 conference and he had to RECRUIT 75 new players was hired after the portal already opened and took that team to 7 wins with 2 extremely close loses to playoff teams at their home field and another to a top 25 virginia team.
We have 15 million dollar budget in a stable p4 league. We are going to be just fine. We are going to keep some good players and depth. We are going to hit the portal in a much less uncertain and positive situation and we are going to compete and honestly I think we are going to surprise a lot of people and clearly a lot of those people are in our own fanbase. But for gods sake lets not make it harder on our coaches who choose to be here and lets support them !
We have a bunch of coaches who know what it takes to win national championships which is hard at any level. Now they have a better resources and selling points to get better talents and with championship habits lets see. Im really excited to see what they can do and this might be just the change we needed to finally get over the hump. Who knows but whats the point of thinking anything else?

There will be some staying here. There will be others from schools we’re bringing in coaches from. There will be others who come in out of the portal because we can pay more than P5 schools and play B12 schedule.
If you look and see what Jimmy has done, I don’t know how you can be anything but impressed.

Yes. Getting Overby to stay at WR is big. I love how Konrardy is staying. A few more to stay, a bunch of wash state guys, several good transfers, let’s go field a team in early January. I trust these guys. The Washington state thing was brutal bc they had NO-league membership situation and still made a bowl. That’s impressive to me.
Konrardy is a game changer for Roger’s. Even if the offense is sluggish you are almost always only two or three first downs away from 3 points.
Now this is worth sharing…none of those announcements of love and I’m leaving.
