Agree. Insane amount of picks considering the receiving corps he had around him. Not as though he was in position where he’s always trying to thread the needle to one guy and the defense knows it.Hoover throws way too many picks.

Probably not worth it for TCU
Should honestly just do the Leech method. Just have a guy that’s gonna get your playmakers the ball and makes good decisionsHonestly the way Tech did it was smart. Pay your guys in the trenches, and hope you have recruited a good QB on your roster.
Feel like the NFL is moving this direction to some degree. There is a VERY short list of QBs that can put a team on its back.Should honestly just do the Leech method. Just have a guy that’s gonna get your playmakers the ball and makes good decisions
Saw a tweet earlier mentioning how GM’s are coming out and saying they can’t afford to spend over 3 mil on QB’s this year. Have to build an entire roster with the rev share amounts they are allottedI think some of these qbs are in for a rude awakening like nico iamaleava was last year.
Some of them are going to get paid very well, most will be paid in 2-4 million range, and a very unfortunate few will be left without a chair when the music stops
Only a union member for 35 years, but I guess I have no clue how they work or anything, so could you help me out?
The purpose of the union would be get collective bargaining put into place, thereby they could put limits on what a school can spend. I mean it only works in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and the NHL, but I guess it will not work with college athletes.
Correct it does not make me an expert, and hating unions and what they do doesn't either. How is the $20 million cap working right now? Without a union, you cannot have collective bargaining to put into place rules that must be followed. But like I said, it works in all other professional sports, but you think it somehow would not work here.Cracks me up when old guys talk like they know it all.
Being in a union doesn't make you an expert on them, FTR. The $20 million cap is already in place, is that in court like you said it would be?
I never said it wouldn't work here, just calling you out cause you clearly don't know as much as you think. The $20 million REVENUE SHARE is working just like they intended it to...Correct it does not make me an expert, and hating unions and what they do doesn't either. That is what cracks me up.

It has just been instituted, and you think it's working, and will stop all of this in the future. But in the real world, TT spent $50 million NIL on player this year, and will do it again next year. So show me where it's working.I never said it wouldn't work here, just calling you out cause you clearly don't know as much as you think. The $20 million REVENUE SHARE is working just like they intended it to...
It's semantics. There is a Rev share cap in place, there is no NIL cap in place. NIL is where programs are going over, the only regulation there is getting deals past the clearinghouse.Lol that you think there is a cap in place. PSU just promised Matt Campbell 30 million a year in nil funding.
There is now a floor in place, but we're nowhere near a cap.
Probably true, but what they did for this season means nothing. Schools that went nuts this year got the big gift payments in before July 1 when the new "rules" went in place. It has just been instituted, and you think it's working, and will stop all of this in the future. But in the real world, TT spent $50 million NIL on player this year, and will do it again next year. So show me where it's working.
That $20 million will be sued over and we all know it, the split will never be what some people want, the non money making sports athletes will quickly be in court when they realize that they are getting a few thousand while someone on the money making sports is making a million or more. Keep thinking this a cure all and is going to put the tooth paste back in the tube, but you are going to be disappointed.
So you are saying the Campbell is not going to get the $30 million PSU promised for NIL money this coming season? This clearinghouse is going to be a joke, you really think they are going to tell a school or NIL that they cannot give X amount of dollars to a player? Its much like NIL was so a person could go out on a date or get a percentage of the T shirts the university sold with their name and number on them, and now has become Pay for Play. The Manning kid gets $6 million, are we going to grand father in all those deal made before this went into place. If and that is a huge IF they try to stop it, then schools will just go back to under the table payments and nothing will change.Probably true, but what they did for this season means nothing. Schools that went nuts this year got the big gift payments in before July 1 when the new "rules" went in place.
Not one single thing I posted indicated any of what you're trying to argue about here, go yell at clouds. So you are saying the Campbell is not going to get the $30 million PSU promised for NIL money this coming season? You want change, then its a players union and collective bargaining, with a signed contract by all parties, without its, nothing is going to change.
Can you list the flood of names (not high school decommits) because I can't find the summary. Thanks.Nothing but a flood of outgoing and no incoming, I am going to go melt down privately until the tide turns.
