If iowa can get LJ Phillips, Then there is no way we shouldn't be able to land a high end starting caliber RB! We desperately need that to put behind this new stacked O-line! Come on Rogers, MAKE IT HAPPEN!
My guess Iowa was willing to pay decent money for Phillips. I doubt that's a position CJR would pay for in year 1.

Looks like higher end speed than Breece
Watching his HS senior season highlights, it does look like he does have quite a bit of speed... and can catch too. It doesn't show a ton of him breaking tackles or putting moves on people... but I think this could be a good pickup. Obviously... there's a lot more to playing RB though... like pass protection and ball protection. If you can't pass protect and/or have fumbling issues.. you will never see the field.

It will be interesting if the S&C staff tries to drop a few lbs. Sounds like Oregon State wanted him heavier, but in HS he was under 200lbs, around 215 his freshman year and 222 his sophomore year.

You have to think JR knows a little about him since he’s from Oregon State. Have to trust him on this guy. Not sure if he is a depth piece or going to be a solid contributor.

The kid from Bowling Green is intriguing

Was committed to sam houston state at one point where our Rb coach use to coach.
