***Official portal tracker thread***

Isn't next week the deadline to announce? I don't remember the exact date, but I thought it was around 1/16
Sounds right, but with the numbers in the portal & the type of players here (no offense to them, but all non-starters but up & coming youngsters with talent), is it prudent for them to wait?

Let me

On my phone I have to save the gif to my images folder and then upload from there. On my computer I have to save the image to my desktop first. Copy and paste doesn't work anymore.
Yeah it only works for me if I do the insert image in the menu. Then insert by link.

But half the gifs other people post dont show up for me on the thread too.

I dont know what I need to do to fix it, I have tried several things but nothing seems to change it.

Copy and paste doesnt work for me except pasting the link in the insert image menu at the top.

I would rather welcome him to Iowa State than nitpick.
the simple thing is for these guys transferring to not use phrases about Loyalty, or HOME or similar. Its cringey and Hypocritical.

I dont care if they are transferring out of ISU or into ISU. Just stop using those kinds of phrases, because none of them actually mean it, so just dont use it.

Just like talking about God, or prayer or whatever, 99% of those guys probably havent opened a bible or been to church in years, if ever, so stop pretending they are some deeply religious saint.

DJ Lagway to Baylor.
Good for them. He was at the game last night with Aranda. When they showed them on the broadcast, my first thought was if you’re Baylor at what point do you stop bringing recruits to basketball games because it makes you look bad? Their atmosphere and fan base at basketball games is piss poor, borderline embarrassing.

I guess when you throw a multi million dollar bag at a guy, all that goes out the window.

You seem to have issues

Who cares

Figured. They showed him sitting next to Aranda at the basketball game last night.
Thought they looked awkward. I don’t really get the idea of bringing a football player to a basketball game, especially if your game atmosphere sucks like Baylor’s. Just sitting next to each other in a semi silent gym for 2 and a half hours to watch teams you didn’t give a **** about until 2 days ago.

I want to see us get a power 4 running back, and a good one.

I'm wondering if Carson Brown, WR, returns. He hit the portal and hasn't landed anywhere yet. He's had some good games for us.
Not flashy but was probably the most consistent reciever. Don't remember many drops for him unlike pretty much all the others that left.

Have you been to their new arena? Their atmosphere is pretty awesome actually.

I have not. My opinion is strictly based on what I’ve seen on TV. Thought it was pretty tame last night.
Went to a game 2 years ago shortly after it opened. Its much smaller so always pretty full. Its no Hilton by any means, but the game I was at was solid. It was FAR better than the corporate atmosphere at Texas, thats for sure.

I don't know if Baylor fans are all that smart, but they were loud through the radio feed. I did not watch on Peacock. I haven't watched them much at all outside of that so maybe I've seen the outliers.

I’m also just a major Baylor hater haha, but I believe you.
