I don't see that. I feel like it breaks your mojo having everything bounce your way and still losing but that's not what that game was. Boston played a good game and still was almost beat. It wasn't like the shocker they had against Cleveland last series. Could they play better? Absolutely, but I think this game was a good representation of the players they have.I think by giving away the first game, Boston wins 4-1.
I had Boston in 7, but this is the kind of thing that just breaks your mojo.
On the other side, I thought the Pacers played pretty poorly to start and to close, and was exactly who they normally are in between. Being able to hang with Boston in Boston should be a confidence boost in my opinion not a detriment.
My guess is this is a home team win series the rest of the way, and Boston wins in 7. Porzingas coming back is the wild card. I could see him coming back and causing immediate problems, because I don't think the Pacers have the guys to match up with him in the line up, mostly because it will probably force Siakem off of Tatum onto him, and then Nembhard will have to guard Brown and I don't think he has the size to do that effectively.
