The most frustrating thing is despite everything that went wrong a WR flat dropped a TD pass that would have won the game.

3rd time this season. X dropped one against Kansas and Texas and then Noel today

Our punter is definitely not collegiate level

He did fine up until about halfway through the 3rd quarter. Can’t really blame the punting today when our offense gave the ball away 5 times

Unfortunately, it really feels like ISU has lost all their momentum between the disappointing season last year and their failure to rebound this year. It feels like they either need to make some very serious changes to the coaching staff or move on from Campbell.

The problem is, I don't think moving on from Manning will really change anything. It's not like Campbell would let the next OC bring in a dramatically different offense. I think we're largely running what Campbell wants the team to run, it just hasn't been that effective.

Yes and I am sure you’d still see shotgun runs up the middle from Third and Fourth down with a yard or less to gain no matter who is tabbed as the OC. There is simply no defending that. It’s a bread and butter play that has about a 4 percent chance of success. We saw the same plays run with the previous regime and two different coordinators.

And some from the days he was here and now wanted to speak poorly about Earle Bruce. Frankly they should build a statue for the guy because I don’t think there will be a coach who can ever muster three 8 win seasons in a row. I sure hope I am wrong but current events are showing otherwise.

Then CMC would easily be feeling the pressure and his ass would be on fire.

He can just chill with his contract and even if he is ever concerned there are always other opportunities. They probably don’t include HC with the Buckeyes but they have plenty of analyst positions.

I’m completely lost. I just don’t see the need to interject politics into completely non-political threads. That’s why I opted out of those particular threads. I’m just pointing out it’s continually the same side of the political aisle that seems hell bent on doing it. I’d be perfectly happy to not see political opinions in threads that have nothing to do with them. If you have a problem with Whitver go start a thread in the appropriate forum. I really don’t think that’s too much to ask.

Also can we quit trying to kick field goals? Obviously he can’t make them. We need to get a new kicker in this recruiting class. When we go to kick a field goal I just go to the bathroom knowing that anything over thirty yards will be a miss

Yes that’s very true. He must have total confidence in the O-line and backfield to keep attempting that up the middle run from shotgun. I think they have converted maybe once or twice on twenty attempts over the past few seasons.

Snapping under center and pushing the QB forward always got a yard every single time but no sense trying something that has worked 100 percent of the time. You cannot win football games unless you keep going back to the 5-10 percent chance for success plays.
