Very odd timing for that kind of move. Why allow him to be in charge of free agency and the draft and then let him go?
The Pats are great, but it's **** like this that helps keep them on top in the AFC East every year. The other teams in the division just can't get out of their own way.
Not the entire reason; they still have to take advantage of it so I give them credit for that. But yeah, it's like the other teams in the AFC East go out of their way to make sure the Pats get at least one home game every postseason and more often than not a first round bye. Two decades of the same three teams not being able to get their **** together.
