Cardinals probably throwing a heater at Soto’s chin next game. Just what they do.

I think throwing at players in general is stupid. Especially if a pitcher is mad. Strike the guy out instead of hitting a defenseless batter.

That being said, Soto grabbing his balls after every pitch is odd. I’m sure he’s just trying to get into the pitchers head which seems to work from time to time. I also have to say, I loved Mikolas giving it back to him. Just fun natured ribbing and entertaining.

Good thing the Cubs won their World Series because if they hadn't it would have killed Cub fans to watch Gleyber Torres over the next 10/12 years or so. ;)

Typical cards. Explode in one game and nothing in the next one. Should of saved some of those 13 runs.
That first inning was a carnival of errors, walks, infield hits, and groundballs that squeezed down the line. The Braves were more horrible than the Cards were good.

Hopefully Juan Soto doesn't go 450 to dead center off Martinez or he'll have a price on his head. Cards don't take kindly to young superstars hitting balls into orbit off their vets.

Can't believing I'm doing it but I'm hoping for a sweep from the gNats. **** St Louis.

Yankees have no one to blame but themselves if/when they give away game 2. The pitching has been phenomenal (albeit unconventional) but you can't give away at bats by chasing and expect to win postseason games.

I heard about this on the radio, but just got to watching the breakdown on youtube. I can't believe this would happen at the major league level to this degree. It's so obvious what pitch he's about to throw. I also can't believe someone from TB didn't notice and fix it during a mound visit very early on.

The Astros pulled it out, I am somewhat glad that I couldn't watch the game since I don't know if I could stomach that much tension in my old age. My cable has gone to crap, and I don't even get FS1 without having to pay extra. Since I am morally against paying any extra for a Fox station, I go without. Did I dream that Correa homerun?

disappointing the Cards are laying down like this. I wanted world series tickets...
