It sucks we giftwrapped both games to Mizzou this year. They can go join their hillbilly brethren in the SEC
I told myself I wouldn't get worked up about this game, since Saturday really matters, but I AM a Cyclone fan. Really upset we couldn't pull this one out. And I love Scotty C..but come on bro, your bread and butter is the 3 ball, and by the 10th time you drive in and get hacked and not get it called ya gotta just learn from it..
Not the end of the world though. Lost to a great team on the road on their senior night. Bring it on Baylor!

Every loss is the same thing around here. There were calls missed for sure, but we could've won this game in many ways.
I totally agree. i was at game. the refs were total bull *****! worse reffing i have ever seen. they gave the game to mizzou:realmad:
Same here. Didn't think I'd get worked up too much because we are already in the Tourney, but man I wanted this game. A win Saturday will make me feel better.
Hope you are correct, because that would mean ISU is a lot better then the credit it is receiving. Probably led for 2/3rds to 3/5ths of the combined minutes.
On a neutral court, I think those games are all toss-ups.

espn3 feed was pretty bad so I really didn't get to see the bad calls. MU really turned the heat up on defense in the second half and ISU just didn't fight through it. A lot of times a game is determined by how the officials are calling a game. MU looked like they were doing a lot of hand checking and swinging and it just was not a foul tonight.
We played well for about 32 minutes. The last 5 minutes they made plays and we fell apart. Veteran teams make plays down the stretch and they made them and we did not. You need to play through the refs, and I didn't think they were all that bad - they were what you expect on the road against a ranked foe.
Last 5 minutes particularly, we didn't value the ball very well and then gave up too many easy buckets.
And what was the deal with the clock manager - have you seen a more blatant case of homer-ish clock bleeding, my goodness?
I just hate it when games come out this way for us. We played well enough to win, but the officiating the last ten minutes was awful like they just did not want us to win. I know we had our problems but six points is some hack jobs on Scott sending him to the free throw line and maybe some traveling calls they just did not want to call.
At home or not officiating needs to be more fair both ways this **** is just getting old in a lot of games I watch this year.
