***OFFICIAL MASTERS WEEK***

There's a second cut after 54 holes if too many golfers make the 36 hole cut. Buy I think its like 80ish or so players. So it hardly ever happens.
I never heard of that. Looked it up and it sounds like it is something they started in 2008 mainly to make it fit into the TV schedule. It also sounds like they don't do it for majors, and The Masters does their own thing anyway.

Sorry, I started one without seeing this. It won't be this year but all I really want is to see Rory and Tiger in 5th gear one time at Augusta 7 shots clear of the field and just going at it.

Tiger is with Jamie Donaldson and Jimmy Walker.

Who finishes third in that group?

You're right. I looked into a bit more too and it seems pretty uncommon and like each tournament can do their own thing. I gotta believe it only happens maybe once or twice a season?

Probably. It brings into question how they do the prize money. If you get cut after 54 holes are you out of the money or do they just score you in last or tied for last and pay you that amount.

The weather will make it all the more interesting. Almost ready to turn in my pool.

Spieth
Stenson
J. Walker
Bubba
D. Johnson
Westwood

Jack making the ace today was special, since he called it yestersay on espn.

He's just amazing, even at his age.

Watched the honorary tee-off. Nicklaus and Player hit their shots straight. Arnie struggled a bit. However, Arnie at 86 is much better than me at 30.

And I don't think most people realize how well you have to play that course to shoot that. I know three guys who have played it and the 6 handicapper said if he played really well he could shoot 90 with the greens set up for normal play. The 10 handicapper said he shot 110 and felt okay about it. I am just enamored with Augusta because it's, IMO, the fairest test in golf that these guys can still score decent on.

How did these guy get on at Augusta?

Spieth is killing it right now and just got a lucky bounce on his tee shot on 13
