As long as it’s a big name, I don’t care who wins. Nothing is more boring than Mike Weir or Danny Willet winning by coming out of nowhere. I’m good with first time winners like Sergio (or Kuchar?), but having the #88 ranked player win blows

Mike Weir was ranked in the top 10 and had two wins that season before the Masters. Willett was ranked number 9 in the world when he won. So, maybe they haven't been the biggest names, but they aren't coming from nowhere.

Spieth will be tough to beat, but I feel like Rory is the best player out there right now if he could just putt halfway decent. He's just bombing it around the course like nobody's business, and with accuracy, not like Tiger. I'm not rooting for Rory because I don't care for him much, but he's an amazing talent for sure.

Mike Weir won the Masters?

Are you thinking of Larry Mize?

I'm hoping spieth shoots around even today, and some others shoot some lower numbers and have a real big bunch up around 6 or 7 under for Saturday.

I'm with others, I don't want spieth shooting 6 under or something again, and being in firm control. Although, 2016 could happen again......

We're getting under way for Friday. Who does everyone having going low today? I think 4 under is the lowest someone shoots, and I'm going with Rory.

Nice feature group starting now. Mickelson, Fowler and Kuchar. Should be fun! Definitely the best group to watch yesterday.

12 guys currently projected to miss the cut. Why even have it? It's not like daylight is a problem there.

Wow Phil is lucky he didn't kill someone with that ball off the tree. I've always been amazed they let people stand that close to someone playing out of the trees for that exact reason.
