Finau is tied for the lead right now after that brutal looking dislocation yesterday. That's pretty dang impressive.

I despise the overkill coverage of him...... Folk hero to men because he had a beautiful wife and still screwed hundreds of other beautiful women. Curses and has temper tantrums on the course....

On the flip side, there is a large percentage of men who look at what Tiger had, and consider him a major dumbass for losing it.

Finau -3 thru 9. Impressive considering the dislocated ankle yesterday.

Any one have a handy way to dislocate an ankle? I have a round of golf coming up in a couple of weeks and I would like to make some bank on it.

This is ridiculous. Walking that course with two good ankles is hard enough.

Step 1: Hit a hole in one
Step 2: Celebrate
Step 3: Dislocate ankle

So far step 1 seems difficult though.

I will go on the record right now that I would happily dislocate my ankle if it would get m a hole in one. I am confident I can nail the hell out of the last 2 steps.

Tiger in the top 40 after the first round. But he's still the opener in Sports Center.
Maybe that will change after tomorrow.

I haven’t watched and won’t, but did somebody put it back in pretty fast? I only ever dislocated a thumb, but it was put back in quickly and in 10 minutes it was in better shape than a sprain or jammed finger.

Obviously an ankle is worse, but may not be too bad. I kind of want to see a picture if it’s gruesome.

He popped it back in all on his own right on the course.

I'm not a Tiger hater, but I'm sitting at work, trying to watch streaming and his is the featured group. Yet the Amen Corner and 15-16 coverage when he was there was almost full Tigervision. If you're all in to watch him, can't you stay with featured group? I really don't need to watch him (or anyone) walk back & forth through the pine straw

Back to the tournament- I think the only way Spieth isn't winning is if Rory, DJ or JT go unconscious and somehow run him down. I just see him shooting 70 a couple times and 68 another. That's 14. I just don't see it and to be frank, it's kind of taken the wind out of my sails. Hopefully some guys do some stuff tomorrow but I just have this feeling he's going to hang a 66 or 67 up there and go into the weekend with a 5 shot lead and milk it out from there.

I don't think anybody shoots under 70 on Saturday. I wouldn't bet against Spieth, unless you give me the field.

As long as it’s a big name, I don’t care who wins. Nothing is more boring than Mike Weir or Danny Willet winning by coming out of nowhere. I’m good with first time winners like Sergio (or Kuchar?), but having the #88 ranked player win blows

Yep. I was really excited about this tourney. Hopefully Spieth can just shoot even or so and give a few names a chance to come up. If he gets another -5 or -6 round that will ruin the weekend of golf watching.

Ideally if Tiger can get to -3 or -4 and be within 3-4 on the weekend, maybe there is an outside shot.
