Had to look up our sweet 16 game against those dudes. Vince Edwards was the guy who killed us. Is that Carson's older brother? Carson did have 9 points off the bench for them.

Ya, that's right. Just wishful thinking. Purdue is starting to get annoying. I can't believe that Virginia hadn't made a Final Four since the 80's. How many great seeds have they had and never made it?

For those complaining about the tournament, this is what you get when you have high seeded teams in the Elite Eight. As much as I love upsets early, I also don't like blowouts in the last few rounds.

Exactly. Total opposite of last year, but I’m not complaining. First round was crazy but the elite 8 and final four stunk.

We beat one of the Final Four once, should have done it twice. We aren't that far off.

Syracuse won in Durham, were they really close to being Final 4 talent this year? Unfortunately it doesnt work like this.

Read somewhere there is 25 million of buyouts involved then still have to pay Beard on top of that. I think that's quite a bit of money even for Texa$$$

Yea you are probably right on that. I could see him eventually wanting to coach for Texas since it’s his alma mater and he grew up not too far from Austin.

We are a fan base that knows this pain. 2000 is 19 years ago but the pain from still feels like yesterday. Some teams when they get this far need to take advantage because that next opportunity may not come for a long time.

I can't get over that last play of regulation by Virginia. I feel like 90% of players in that situation would have panicked and heaved up a half court shot instead of making a pass. Probably higher than 90%.
