***Official ISU vs. TT Gameday Thread***

Whats the radio for the game in eastern iowa? Have stuff to do this afternoon, and for some reason, I want to torture myself today.

... Wonder how many Cyclone fans will just be watching the Iowa game today.

During timeouts I will switch over to the Iowa game to see how bad the Badgers are beating them, but I don't think any true fan would watch Iowa when a Cyclone game is on. Regardless of our record.

Isn't this the National Championship for cross country? That's pretty important for the sport, and we represent very well.

This really isn't an important football game. It's just the difference between 2 and 3 wins.

I'd disagree. This is a very important game. A win won't mean much other than a happy afternoon but another loss in front of the home crowd against a bad Tech team would be very bad. Not only that but its an HUGE recruiting weekend....why wouldn't our AD be there to meet these recruits (maybe even take them aside and assure them the coach that is recruiting them is safe)...?

And anyone that thinks a cross country meet (national championship or not) is more important than a home football is totally out of touch. Just laughably so....

Are some of you guys this big of cry babies in real life or just when you log on to a computer? Seriously, you guys sound like whiny babies. You don't have to pump sunshine but for the love of god can some of you just support the school we all love without acting like brats? For ****s sake...

I mean I hope we win and I'll be watching, but to me the excitement just isn't there anymore like it was at the beginning of the season.

Tech by 2 TDs or so. No reason other than ISU tends to struggle against other teams that also play football.

I suppose if ISU wins, and wins comfortably, the sky will all of the sudden be the limit for this squad and the program as a whole.

I'm about here except I haven't been all that excited about a game yet, and this is about where I though ISU would be by now. I think I predicted 4 wins, but I was under the impression that the program wasn't in as bad of shape as it seems to be at the moment.

Unfortunately most of our excitement was lost in the 2nd Quarter of our 1st game. I was hoping for a great year too. Listened to all CPR's rah rah stuff all summer. Guess we all got burned again...

Lol, well said.

But it's some sort of contest for these folks. They're trying to out apathy each other. That way the real problems of Iowa State football can be ignored.

If it wasn't so sad and self defeating, and of course damaging to the program, it would be cute

I support the school every year when I write them a check. Well, electronic check since this is the 21st century...

I've only seen one "bratty" person in this thread so far and a bunch of apathetic Cyclone fans. Care to elaborate?

Something about JP tweeting that he's in Indiana watching cross country while our football team plays an important game totally pisses me off....and I like JP but damn that guy is obsessed with cross country.

JP just tweeted he's on a flight back to Ames to be back by kickoff....so I apologize.
