***Official ISU vs Texas Meltdown Thread***

He caught a lot of ******* important balls today too.

For every person ******** about X on here, I'd bet there are 2 that are sending emails/tweets/DM's to him. That's the kind of crap that Campbell called out with the kicker two weeks ago.
Oh absolutely, that’s why I asked the question in the first place

Said it in the closed thread, but this one just made me sad. Players made mistakes, sure. The X drop looms large, as does the Dekkers end zone pick.

But they also balled the **** out. Dekkers had a truly great day IMO against a very talented defense. Manning implemented a lot more moving pockets, RPOs, etc. that others were mentioning this week and it really did breathe some life into the offense. I'm excited to see if they can keep some positive momentum going as an offense.

Everyone on earth, even the most diehard Texas fan knows deep down that "fumble" at the end is called differently if the jerseys are swapped, even if they'd never admit it. But it's far from the first or last time we've seen or will see that so I'm just sad.

These guys are inches from a special season, but it's pretty much too far gone now. Wish the wrinkles and adjustments we saw today came against Kansas and K-State, but they didn't. So, I'm left just not sure how to feel about the rest of the year.

And the refs shouldn't be making mistakes in the game either. **** happens.

I cannot believe we are turning this into a Hutchinson-bashing thread. We really are ******* stupid.

True. Talking about easily observable things is stupid on a message board.
There's nothing wrong with pointing stuff out when it happens. That should be obvious.

Long way off, and not that I care THAT much but another meltdown could be a 12-1 or 13-0 OKSt getting skipped over for the playoff spot even though the Big 12 has been #1 or #2 in strength per computers all season.

I almost hope our champ has two or more losses so it’s not even a possibility.
