Bad offense, may never get down there again, may as well go for it rather than gaining 20 yards on a punt. You're going to lose anyway w/out question. Why not try to do something that might result in a score.

If you don't get it, who cares? You gave up 20 yards of field position that they were going to rip off anyway.

The Offense has clearly given up. If you do not change Coaches you are completely screwed. They have no confidence in mess and are not motivated. I have been on the change OC's after the season until today, but it is clear they don't wanna play for Mess anymore.

No coach could ever do what he's doing and none would want to for $2 million per.

We've shown that we have a rabid fan base and an AD who will reward even mild success with big time $$.

Also, no assistant coach or coach at a lesser school would ever want an opportunity to coach in the Big 12.
