Here's what hurts this year. In years past we've lost but been well-coached. To me, well-coached means no penalties, no dumb mental mistakes, no turnovers, and solid fundamentals. The team knows what they are doing, even if they aren't really good at it.
This year - lots of penalties, missed tackles like we have not seen in years, and confusion on the o-line. Turnovers were OK until last 2 games which were disasters.
Yes some of that is youth and inexperience and injuries. But not ALL of it. So this is what really worries me.

We are supposed to be a smart foot ball team. Can't get into gaps, can't block and frequently penalized.
