from 4 wins to 3 the next seasn, and now it's gonna be 2 this year, lets follow the pattern, what do we get next year, 1 win
I think that we should get a new head coach. An unknown who will motivate the team. We will probably be the lowest ranked BCS school in the nation. What do we have to lose?
You have to start to wonder if Chizik is in way over his head here. We're just not making any real progress.
Going into the hiring process that landed Gene in Ames, I thought it might be a better idea if we went the South Carolina route and hired an older, experienced coach with the understanding that he would only be here for a short while. This is what South Carolina did with Holtz; it was a stop gap hire, and it allowed them to get a lot of things within the program in order before Spurrier was hired.
Once again, we have a coach whose going through on the job training, and we have a team in disarray. Every football team in the Big XII is making strides in improving, and they're all passing us by and leaving us in the dust. Even A&M looked good today against T Tech. Call me crazy, but I expected much more in year two of the Chizik era. We look absolutely awful.

My frustration is that I'm just not seeing any improvement. Last year, we appeared to get a little better as the season went on. Now, things seem to be going the other way.
To qualify as a meltdown, you had to have high expectations in the first place.....
They're lucky people still care enough to have a meltdown. Next step is apathy, and we are real close to reaching that stage.

The second half they definitely fought. The D only gave up 7 real points. The offense was battling too but they simply aren't any good as a unit.
I think that the Clones played as well as they can...& U can see the results.
Fact is boys that this football team is NOT VERY GOOD.
I'll give Chizik one more year and if their is no bowl game then the AD has to make a change...this is 5 losses in a row and thats way too many imho!!!
