well i dont like to hate on the coaching staff but the draw play barely worked against northern ill so why do they think it would work well against Iowa?
When you can run the ball (good OL) and stop the run and pressure the QB with 4 (great DL), you're going to be a great football team.
You? Give that level of protection to Stanzi's grandma and she would have 4 touchdowns right now.
I'm not sure what everyone's so surprised about.
Coming off a 10 game losing streak and a coaching change we beat 6 bad teams (26-46) and pulled one win out of our butts at Nebraska. We then beat a team in a bowl game that just lost to a team with Dakota in their name.
Now we're getting manhandled by a team that handily won a BCS game (I know GT got beat by KS) and is ranked in the top 10 (and deserves it).
Expect similar results against UT and OU and maybe even NU.
We need to get the others and can still have a great season.

AA has 5 picks already. His hold on that job has to be somewhat tenuous, to say the least. He's got to stop this junk.
I think Iowa might have the best offensive and defensive lines we'll see all year, to be honest. They've been beastly today and if they avoid injury they should have a really nice year.
It pisses me off that Tiller isnt in. I dont care if he is worse than AA, right now I think that would make me feel better.
The announcers are now shaking their heads with AA. They said he threw it 3 stories over Franklin's head... and then said... oh my.
I'm not so sure our defense really stinks all that bad actually? Our offense just sucks so bad. Unreal.
I don't know what in the world Herman is thinking? Not one WR screen today, correct? That has been our bread and butter. But we sure did suprise Iowa with all the runs up the middle, didn't we? They never suspected that!

Umm, the guy's a good athlete, but none of that tells me what kind of person he is.

Truth. At this point though, I don't care if they switch out KO for AA, someone else needs to be taking the snaps.
We are getting beat soundly by a very good football team. It's only one game. I refuse to give up on the whole season based on losing to a top-10 team on the road no matter how bad we look. Glad we didn't give up after losing to Iowa last year. We may not have a win like last year over Nebraska but I still believe we have enough talent and heart to win several more games. UNI, Colorado, Kansas,

Bad day for Herman. Yeah I am surprised we haven't tried to stretch it out with the WR screens and quick passes. But hey, why make adjustments?
