And your right, the team seems much more confident as a whole with Lanning in there.

That said Baylor thought this game was over at halftime..

I think they thought they could just turn it back on when they wanted and the defense came to play some. Maybe the offense showing just a little life will keep giving the defense something to play for in our remaining games?

I wasn't watching the first attempt of the PAT (until it sounded like chaos), but were we really going for two? Or was it a matter of Fischer saw his life flash before his eyes and said "**** it, i'm outta here."

And then the actual PAT...my goodness.

This is exactly it. The fact that the announcers were totally clueless about WHY our holder HAD to make a split-second decision shows just how little they understand FB.

This has to be the longest Baylor has gone without scoring a TD yet, and probably will be all season. I'm absolutely giddy that we are only losing by 18.

Did Lazard and Lanning play together in high school as QB/WR? I know Lazard was a DB some too............and their bios don't really say much about that.

Lanning would be at 90% on the season if his recievers didn't drop balls off their hands, two in this game. Ridiculous him not playing was made out to be an accuracy thing. He's throwing lasers compared to what we're used to, maybe he plays horrible in practice or something.

if anyone saw weather forecast 2 days prior they were fools to take Baylor at give that many points.

Baylor looks bored out there. They deserve to get beat.

Briles' comments too at half about "expecting" another 35 in 2nd half borderline ****** move.

Would love to see ISU jam it down their throats.

Lanning was Ankeny, Lazard was Urbandale.
