I enjoy listening to STYX. I think Come Sail Away is one of the greatest songs of all time. There I said, I finally have it off my chest.

I didn't know this was worth confessing, but I guess I must because this is one of my favorite songs too.

I can't stand that either. Unfortunately, my wife almost always does this type of crap. She's a huge cyclone fan but for whatever reason doesn't really enjoy watching away games on tv. It absolutely drives me crazy to watch cyclone games with someone who isn't paying attention.

I dont let it bother me. My wife is a pretty big Cyclone supporter, an alum, and we spend a great deal of time watching/going to games. I honestly dont care if she is doing her own thing. I do my own think whenever she has a movie or TV show on I dont want to be apart of. Not sure why she should have to watch it because I have it on the TV.

If it is a big game and something I want to get into more than just watching it with the wife, I have plenty of friends that I can call, but sometimes it is just easier to watch at home.

I dont get into chick flicks and drama TV, so I dont expect her to sit down and get involved with my shows, if she feels like doing something else. Easy to multitask.

Now, if she keeps asking me what happened because she was goofing off or keeps asking me questions, then that can be a different story.

You make good points...HOWEVER, you just compared watching Cyclone sporting events to watching chick flicks.

:jimlad:

I know I shouldn't get as upset as I do about it, but it's who I am.

I confess I almost wish we had lost one more game....because I think we're stuck in the 8-9 game and I'd rather be a 10 seed.

I wanted to kill a kid last night.

That kid was in kansas gear, obnoxiously cheering for Texas just down the row from us.

I wouldn't say I compared them, but yes, they were said in the same sentence...... But I do apologize for mentioning them in the same sentence, it at least warrants a warning, which you sir provided and I appreciate. I will work hard to never EVER mention such in the same sentence and I hope my apology is taken sincerely.

Girl I work with offered to shave my scrotal area when we at the bar on Wednesday, because I said that area was scary for me. I'm thinking it's better for all involved if that doesn't happen, but am not quite sure.

I was ****-blocked last night at the PBR bar in the Power & Light district. By her whole family.

I convinced cstrunk he should try and get that girls number last night leading to the **** block. I almost feel bad.

Almost.

I want to de-friend every person sharing that KONY video on my fb feed. And I judge the mental capacities of everyone who does.

Also, I am sick to death of being sick and it's making me cranky. I should not be entering my 14th day of having this stupid cold.

I'm meeting the girlfriends parents tonight. They're both military folks. Before I leave to head down to Des Moines, I'm loading up on Imodium so I wont take a dump the entire time I'm down there. I dont have a fear of pooping in public, just a fear of pooping at parents' houses because sometimes I really get into it and just savor the moment. Pooping time is a sacred time in my house.

I listened to the new Bruce Springsteen album on Spotify the other day on the way home...and liked it. The lyrics are way to political and its really pretty crappy writing, but I really dig his voice and the tunes. Thats my guilty confession of the day.

I didn't like this album much at all, and I'm a pretty big Springsteen fan. The lyrics are all really forced (like he's trying way too hard to be political) and I don't like how he tries a new genre on every damn song. That rappish song is (Rocky Ground, I think) just crappy to my ears.

I do really like the title track (Wrecking Ball) though.

I think I enjoyed it because it was catchy. Kept me entertained for a 1hr drive. That'll probably be the only time I'll listen to it too. I'm a big fan of Nebraska though.

Nebraska is good. Darkness on the Edge of Town is my favorite. Probably followed Born to Run.

I can usually dig catchy, but Wrecking Ball just didn't grab me. Seems to be getting really good reviews though, so what do I know?
