Iowa State recently offered and he was in Florida for the Emerald Coast Classic in November to watch them.

Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels2017 Wheeler PG Darius Perry is extremely quick. Tremendous first step/burst & his ability to change speeds is impressive.

Alabama looks improved but lost a close one to Oregon. Also sounded like they had a nice crowd.

Yeah, the recruit probably was impressed. And there's that NBA coach background as a recruiting tool, of course. Hopefully we'll get him to Hilton for a visit.

Living in Dallas and having many friends that work for the Mavericks, I can attest that Avery Johnson is a pain in the *** coach for point guards....hopefully these kids find that out before committing.....

Just curious, in what way is he a pain? Too hard on them, you mean? Some recruits may want that. There are players that like to be coached hard....like Jimmy Butler, for example.

You must not follow recruiting
Not really, no. When I think of Wake, I think of when they have been good. No idea where they stand now, but none of those teams are too scary and thats why i said mildly. Hopefully none of the bigger schools get involved.

Fair enough, but fwiw in 2015 ISU finished behind FSU, Auburn, SMU, Georgia, and Clemson according to 247.

In 2014, we finished behind Auburn, Georgia Tech, Clemson, FSU, UAB, George Mason and Georgia (247).

This year we are sitting at 34 with 5 commits. FSU and Auburn are 10 and 17 respectively. We are slightly ahead of Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and Georgia, but all of those will quite possibly pass us if they add to their class in the spring.

Fortunately, we had some really good transfers in the classes I talked about, but as far as HS recruiting goes, we haven't had much success to show for our recent success.

Surely that wasn't the guy in a blue shirt I saw sitting next to Babb was it? He looked shorter than Babb, so wouldn't think he was a power forward which the link lists him at 6'7".

He's listed at 6'7 180, not a big guy, watching his videos it seems like he'd be more of a 3 than a 4 but he does have another year to grow. Looks like he has a nice 3pt shot and is fairly athletic.

Talks highly of Monte Morris. Says he models his game after him and that they are like family at this link.

That's a great, like how he talked up Monte! He is a 3⭐️ PG but more than likely become a 4 before his collegic carrier. So we have PG McKinley Wright, Darius Perry, Blake Harris, and this young man Collin Sexton with offers nice. 2017 is the year Prohm gets his PG!

Seems like one of those "why not?" offers. Would be a huge get though.
