I'm flying back from St Louis tomorrow morning. Been here since Monday. I make this trip about once a month. I'd rather not travel at all, for work, but I've settled into my routine and it's not terrible. The hotel staff all know me by name, by now.

Finally was able to wind down work travel this year to around once per month after 8 years of 60-100 flights and 80-100 nights per year on the road. Had a flurry of like 12 out of 15 travel weeks towards the end of last year and it finally broke me. I used to love work travel, then I enjoyed it, then I tolerated it, and at least right now, I hate it.

I used to travel for work a lot, and it killed a lot of my desire to travel for pleasure for a long time. It's great to have that back.

Flighty is awesome.

I never traveled much but did near bi-monthly trips to Richardson, Texas last year.
