Official Bowl Watch thread

Win this weekend and I can’t see us falling any lower than Houston right? I’d like to think that Camping World is the lowest but there’s still a lot of games left.

Stewart Mandel from the Athletic update:

Dec. 28 | Camping World | Orlando
Syracuse (ACC No. 2) vs. Iowa State (Big 12 No. 3)

What is the payout difference for the Alamo vs. Camping?

Does not matter. All bowl revenue is split equally among all conference teams. We don't get more for a better bowl payout.

** However, our travel budget is larger for better bowls, so there is an indirect benefit.

I agree, but even if we beat UT, the Alamo can still pick them over us if they want.

Yeah it appears that way. This is how I think it will go:
Finish:
9-3 then good shot at Alamo or Sugar (if win Big 12 title game)
8-4 Orlando
7-5 Houston

Sugar can be win or lose.

OU is going to the CFP.
Michigan will get exposed at OSU.
Notre Dame w/ 2 tough ones left.
Georgia will lose to Bama.

But it’s really the only way to tell the difference in prestige level with the way the bowl system works these days.

Is it split between all 10 teams or just teams who qualify for a bowl?
