***OFFICIAL BIG 12 EXPANSION THREAD 2.0***

Honestly, the only Big East schools I would want to join the Big 12 is, in order:

Louisville (isn't officially ACC yet)
Cinci
South Florida
UCF
UCONN

No thank you in regards to the remaining (Temple, Houston, Memphis, SMU).
 
Yeah no. I will take the following schools 1. FSU 2. Clemson 3. Louisville 4. Miami 5. Cincy (really feel for them). 6. VTech. Get to 16 stay there and enjoy life. Or merge with Pac 12 which will not happen just saying ya know.
 
If we add any Big East schools, it will be due to a nightmare scenario where we need to replace teams who bolted. If Big10 and ACC don't want any of them, why would we?
 
Let the nightmare begin, The Big Twelve is toast:unsure:. If we add those schools we screwed.
 
If they are going to get teams from the ACC as well id like to see 1) FSU, 2) Clemson 3)Syracuse 4) Pittsburgh 5) Miami 6) Louisville
 
I can see that Miami is a bigger name than Pitt and Syracuse in Football but Id still put Syracuse over miami in terms of wanting them more but Id be shocked if they all 3 end up in the big 12
 
If the B12 doesn't add some sort of combination of FSU, Clemson, Miami, VaTech and Louisville, it is only a matter of time before it becomes irrelevant at which point UT/OU will decide to head for greener pastures.

I would guess that if Notre Dame joins the new Big East, then there's not a whole lot keeping FSU, Clemson, and a few others anchored in the ACC. We'll see. I think it would be ironic if the ACC got screwed by the remaining Big East schools that they screwed before. Classic karma.
 
It seems like the catholic schools have a nice league for ND. It may mean Creighton does not move over right away if ND jumps now. What is the MVC exit fee? Having ND play soccer and baseball and hockey and bball in Omaha would appealing to the Creighton fans, so I expect McDoormat to go to the Big East or whatever they will call themselves. ND may be looking for some other fball partners at some point also.
 
Why do I get the feeling that Notre Dame has been behind this "new" league formation the whole time? It seems to fit their needs perfectly.......

2 things that will restart all realingment IMO are Notre Dame deciding that the Catholic 7 is a better fit for them. 2 Marylands lawsuit gets settled
