So when does CUSA start poaching the Sun Belt?
It had already begin with FIU and North Texas scheduled. My prediction of how it all shakes out eventually at the mid and lower tier...basically everything but the relatively stable MAC.
Mega-mid tier conference championship game:
MWC (can't kick out existing or invited):
AFA
CSU
NM
UNLV
Wyoming
Fresno St
Nevada
Utah St
San Jose St.
Hawaii (they're football only already)
*Possible adds: Boise State, SDSU, BYU, Tulsa, SMU, Houston
Big East (again starting with existing and invites but assuming Louisville, UConn and USF are gone)
Cincy
Temple
Houston (possible move to west)
SMU (possible move to west)
SDSU (possible move to west)
Boise State (possible move to west)
Navy
UCF
Memphis
Tulane
ECU
Possible adds: Marshall, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UTEP, LA Tech
Teams that may be in the new CUSA type league after all this: Rice, Marshall, Southern Miss, Tulsa, UTEP, LA Tech, Old Dominion, FIU, North Texas, UNC Charlotte, UTSA. Not sure why this league wouldn't just partner with a Sun Belt conference, same thing where many were Sun Belt.
