I hate defending Mouser but he’s not throwing or catching the ball. Becht can’t miss throws like he has been for the last 4 weeks. Sowell also drops way too many passes for a #1 wr.
So, exactly how bad does Rocco have to get for him to ride the bench for at least a drive? Clearly, he isn't the guy right now. I think he can get it back, but he needs a wake up call of some type.

WR have sucked all year and for sure not helping the QB, but the INTs and especially when they happen are a major concern.

He didn't, Sowell just didn't know where he was at on the field and ran it too shallow. You could see he was surprised when he got up and looked at the marker. That's 100% on the WR.
It's just a bad team, that lost to a really average team. They just aren't any good. Poor defense, poor qb play, poor receivers....lot of dumb plays. It's just a bad team.

What good would that do? Campbell will just promote another GA who is lacking sufficient experience to run a Big 12 offense to OC.
Those may not like their coach..........but he has the fire in him a certain coach that came to ISU in 2016 use to have. I miss that coach.
Also, injuries this time of year is just a p*** poor excuse. Everyone has them. That team, with that QB should not have beat ISU in Ames.

We lost to a team with a 3rd string qb and an injury list longer than ours. We seem to have a systemic issue.
This is not healthy for me and I’m really not happy with all the **** I say on here either so I may need to just step away.
I think this is gonna get even worse because people think basketball is gonna be some sort of saving grace but after watching those guys an exhibition you’re probably looking at a 10 seed type of team
And then throw in the fact that Iowa is probably gonna make the goddamn playoffs somehow is salt in the wound
In conclusion. Rocco is a huge part of why this team is not succeeding right now.
If you can’t score more than 19 points at home against a depleted football team, where you get the ball like five times at midfield and get three turnovers you need to look in the mirror offensively.
I think it’s 50-50 e make a bowl after being in playoff discussions.
