***Official 2026 World Cup Thread***

Mistakes are the story in this one. Spain, like always, plays such disciplined possession soccer. France has the firepower, but 2 big mistakes will likely cost them this one.

Spain is about to go into the world cup final having allowed only 1 goal in the entire tournament. I don't know that enough people tuning in on Sunday will appreciate how insane that is and/or how good this Spanish team is.

They really remind me of that 2010 team that won every knockout game 1-0 all the way through.

Amazing game by Spain. Very sound from a technical stand point. France had a pretty bad game and a lot of it had to do with Spain’s ability to keep ball.

0-0 at the Half.

I feel like someone is going to eventually get a Penalty Kick. More than likely England.

I am newer to soccer. Been following it for about 10 years. Has this flopping thing always been this bad? Like did they do this back in the 1980's and 1970's or is this kind of a newer thing.
