I don't get it. It touched a Portugal player but since they deemed it unintentional it was offsides?
I can't imagine the upcoming rounds being much crazier than R32 has been so far.
Canada/South Africa -- GW goal in 90+2'
Brazil/Japan -- GW goal in 90+5'
Paraguay/Germany -- PKs
Netherlands/Morocco -- game-tying goal in 90+1', goes to PK
Norway/Ivory Coast -- GW goal in 86'
England/DR Congo -- two goals in final 15' to win
Belgium/Senegal -- goals in 86' and 89' to tie, then a PK at 120+5' to win
Portugal/Croatia -- go-ahead goal in 90+4', tying goal at 90+13' waved off (offsides)

Can you imagine if a WR got passed the DBs, caught the ball, and was called offsides?

What? Lol they finished 2nd and 3rd the last two world cups. They consistently perform above their expectations
But if a player on offense touches it unintentionally, it’s offsides. Gotta love it.
Or imagine if the receiver made an incredible play and it was called back because he was in an illegal formation to start, that’d be wild.
