***OFFICIAL 2026 WEATHER THREAD***

Just crazy...after those early snows (the kinds that were a huge pain to clear) in December...it seemed like winter was going to be challenging! But here we are on January 9th...feels like spring! I know...we have a long way to go though...
Last half of January routinely has the coldest weather. Hopefully we can keep the wind down.

Looks like my timing of a Caribbean vacation departure of Thursday evening is perfectly timed

Seems to be a big system heading into CONUS next weekend, tracking South but large forecasted precipitation.
Had to look this up, thought it was in the Caribbean. Never heard this team. But then I never heard of Derecho either, now we discuss it 3-4 times a month. So I can add Conus to my arsenal. Thanks

So, it's been in the 50s in Stillwater for the past week or so, taking a dive to the 30s and snow on Friday and teens and bitter cold on game day. Why do the weather gods hate ISU fans so much?

Cool down here in the Caribbean, but it's supposed to be 81 today. We picked a perfect time to cruise and get out of Iowa.

Bitterly cold air looks to dive south towards the end of the week. Looking at a potential winter storm in Texas Friday night through Saturday.
