Next weekend is going to be worse...
It's always during the weekends when it's cold, never during the week. I swear the last 4 have been like that.It was what, 50 degrees last week.
Good news is February is just around the corner and the sun will only get higher.
Ice fishing may start up again for those of us who enjoy it.
I’m speaking in a higher voice today.-26 wind chill. Glad I'm not working today.
Pope is CatholicIt's January. It's the Midwest. We act like this is new. Lol....
Is there a time frame that works best for seeing the lights? No biggie...but that stuff seems so cool!Strong northern lights again possible tonight . . . to those that don't mind the cold
Pinpointing times is difficult. Just be aware they are possible tonight. If this interests you, I would suggest looking outside every 30 minutes or so tonightIs there a time frame that works best for seeing the lights? No biggie...but that stuff seems so cool!
I find it easier to see them once your eye lids freeze openStrong northern lights again possible tonight . . . to those that don't mind the cold
Lack of attention is the issue. Next time you're at a stop light and the cross traffic is going by, count how many people are looking down at their phone while driving. It's probably half from my anecdotal evidence.Pope is Catholic
Cyclones will rip your heart out
January will suck in the Midwest
Age is the issue. Not the weather. Most people, me included, just get salty having to deal with it, again. I always wondered, as a kid, why all those people in Ames went South for 3 to 4 months. Ha!
Yeah I'm in East Texas near I-20. Luckily it seems to be trending colder so hopefully less freezing rain and more sleet and snow where I'm at. Maybe even historic totals but still too early to know specifics. But confidence is very high that we're going to get a lot of precipitation and there will be very cold air to work with. Someone is going to get walloped with freezing rain. I hope we get walloped with snow.Anyone here live in the swath of freezing rain (south and south east) that the Weather Channel has been talking about for the coming weekend? I get that the Weather Channel hypes things up...but I enjoy watching the channel. However, the descriptions they are using to warn people of what might be hitting that region in a few days seemed over-the-top...even for them! Can't imagine Atlanta without power for a long stretch of time...what a mess that would be!
