They didn't exactly look amazing during the regular season. No better than Fran, really.

They got hot at the right time and had some luck in their draw. The tournament is weird sometimes.

The Squawks do a great job of spreading the floor, getting the shooters in the corners, allowing Stritzt to either drive it to the hoop or drive and kick to a wide open shooter. Most of the shots are not difficult they are wide open because their weave offense forces you to help when they drive the lane. Now you still have to make them, but they are not difficult shots to make, few are off the dribble.
