Assuming the coaches do a 3 team scout like they do the first weekend.

No idea if Michigan or Bama would be a more problematic matchup for us (with the big assumption we get past TN)

I don't like these SEC schools most of the time. They seem to always give ISU more trouble than the teams like Michigan.

Dude, who the hell are you? :explode: :) Got any thoughts on the stock market ;)

In all seriousness, however, I find the difference from #9, 82-8 vs # 8, being 76-20.

I had thought 9 seeds are over 500 versus 8 seeds and that’s a fairly significant difference, isn’t it?! You would think it’d be very minimal?! Hell I don’t know maybe statistically it is very minimum but I guess I would’ve thought it would’ve been very, very similar
Hoops tournament is the tourney stats god. He shows up in March disappears at the end of the tourney then comes back every March like a Phoenix from the ashes.

Probably should have predicted this given how bad a lot of people on here said the Big 10 was.

Seen that the other way around many times. Iowa fans thinking conference A,B,C wasn’t very good…it’s just fans playing psychological games with themselves…

This year The BIG, SEC & Big 12 were all pretty salty in my mind, Houston, ISU & Zona are still 3 of the best teams left in my mind.

Texas Tech is off to a terrible start. Looks like the Big 12 will be down to the big 3.
Had a discussion with another CF member after Tech shot the lights out against us at Hilton. And I said when they get in the Big12 or even the NCAA tourneys...those 3 point shots don't just always fall so easily. Tired legs, travel...good defensive teams, etc.
...it all caught up to Tech tonight.

Well we all owe Tamin and his teammates extra since it would have been completely unbearable not to win with Iowa winning.

Outside of the squawks, they won the games they were supposed to win, they really got some very good draws so far in the tournament and have made the best of it. The key for most teams to advance is to avoid playing the # 1 and 2 seeds, and except for the squawks the league has been able to do just that.
The B10 is not a better league than the B12 from top to bottom or even at the top. I would put Arizona, Houston and ISU up against any three teams from the B10.
