Where this came from, there are 4-5 more pics showing all kinds of nasty weather over the next 2-3 days. So don’t be surprised, bad temps to big storms to high winds. Hang on here we go. Blizzard warnings coming in 4 months.

Was planning to overseed my lawn this fall. That would be just my luck that it rains every damn week all summer then turns dry for fall.

Had a water leak that I thought was plumbing. Looks like it was a bad gasket on a roof vent. Went up there and flexseal taped it until a new gasket arrives. It's damn hot on the roof right now lol.

The last few falls, my aeration plugs were about 0.25 inches deep as the yard has been crusty dry... I doubt that will be the case this year. Morning dew in the fall goes a long ways though!

Farmers don’t remember what it’s like having a wet fall. I think the past 6 have been very dry. Remember the later part of 2018 getting pretty wet.

KCCI TV said central Iowa could get some rain last night, but they underestimated the amount. They are calling for northern Iowa to get dumped on again late tonight and pretty much all of central Iowa get dumped on late Tuesday night.

I don't remember seeing any amounts?

I'd wait, either you'll have more to pick up tomorrow anyways, or it'll blow them all into the next county and you won't have to pick up any.

Sounds like will be rolling through Ames between 1 and 2. Is tracking towards the southern end of the severe risk area which puts central Iowa more in the target. Hoping it loses quite a bit of steam by then.
