0 to 12how much snow are they predicting for central Iowa/Des Moines metro?
Right now it looks like 6 inches by sunday morning but last time i said that i came up shorthow much snow are they predicting for central Iowa/Des Moines metro?
I don't have my snowblower ready yet. It will probably be the real heavy stuff. Ugh.
Yeah I think we are in for one this year but to be honest we are probably past due for that to happen.NWS is calling for 8.8 inches at my house right now. With the temperatures over the next two weeks being well below freezing, this might turn into a brutal winter. A snow pack like that this early will drop surface temperatures dramatically.

I've said all Fall we are due for a hard winter in the DSM metro. Fox Weather and Jim Flowers on his Facebook page (a retired Omaha TV Meteorologist) are both calling 8-10 inches of snow in the metro.Yeah I think we are in for one this year but to be honest we are probably past due for that to happen.
Need a no trucks in left lane law. With all the semi convoys blocking traffic and 4 wheelers whipping around them, I'm surprised it's not #1 year round.
I-80 needs to be expanded to 3 lanes each way like they are doing with I-35 up to Ames. I-80 go from DM over to the Mississippi. Keep semi's in the two right lanes, they do that down in Texas and it works out great.Need a no trucks in left lane law.
