Down in Phoenix, and we've gotten close to 4" of rain in some spots of the valley.
Personally, where I Live (east Valley) we got around 2.5"

I have some family that lives in the Miami/Superior area and the videos they've sent are crazy. I've been around Queen Creek many times, but I've never seen it like that.Down in Phoenix, and we've gotten close to 4" of rain in some spots of the valley.

I hope he's right, last winter sucked.Let’s do this. Bring on the snow.
Just what my allergies/sinuses didn't want to hear. God Dammit!Cold today, 82 on Thursday, and then back to normal temps for October it seems.
Not a fan of the cold/snow, but hopefully if this does come to pass it kills off a lot of the tick/mosquito/no-see-um population. They seemed to be more rampant this year than in years past.Let’s do this. Bring on the snow.

They eat paneling, too?The Asian beetles came out of no where this week and attacked the south side of my house yesterday. Literally from zero to thousands.
Knock on wood but the population here is virtually nonexistent this year. Must have been a ton of insecticides sprayed with fungicides this year. Only explanation I can come up with. That or they are still waiting to swarm and piss me off.The Asian beetles came out of no where this week and attacked the south side of my house yesterday. Literally from zero to thousands.
Weather Underground still showing <20% chance until after 5pm.Chances of rain keep increasing on Saturday.
That’s always been a myth. Mosquito populations definitely have far more to do with moisture and temps through spring and summer. I’ve also read tick populations aren’t really determined by harshness of winter. Not a fan of the cold/snow, but hopefully if this does come to pass it kills off a lot of the tick/mosquito/no-see-um population. Pretty slim chance in Ames. Much higher in Iowa City.Chances of rain keep increasing on Saturday.
