It's gonna feel like that first nice spring day when it gets over 50, but in reverse. We've had worse heat waves than this, but I don't remember a worse stretch of demoralizing, sticky, humid heat like this past 3 weeks. Sitting in the shade, not doing anything, and just pouring out sweat.
I have so much **** to do outside tonight and I don't wanna do a god damned ounce of it.
Just got done with yard work. Sweating like a 1990s high school wrestler wearing plastics in a sauna while doing jumping jacks. My Apple Watch keeps giving me warnings that I’m a middle-aged man and I need to stop this activity.

I do not get why people were mowing at 2pm today. Insanely dangerous.
I did it yesterday and it sucked balls, but it was a far better option than doing it today.
Just got back from a week in the mountains in Colorado.

I am mowing roughs tomorrow at the local course. I was told show up at daylight and quit when you want to. Tornado last summer and ash borer over the last 3 years took out over 200 trees last year. They have been replaced with 234 trees. Not much shade anymore. Water supply is good though!!!@

The weather leaves things to be desired now in the state of Iowa, but yea, Iowa sucks
I did...and regretted it immediately! Set a personal record for water breaks!

Honestly might be the worst weather in the country. Our winters and summers are both brutal and our springs and falls feel like they get shorter every year.
I got done mowing and pulling weeds around 11:15, and both of my boys wanted to know if we could go play tennis…
Sometimes you mow when the schedule permits. Even in non-optimal conditions. I drank a boat load of water, though, doubling the normal time it takes to mow.
In these conditions, I’m not upset if someone is mowing early in the morning.
