If I want to win my pool, I need things to go chalk today and tomorrow (St. Mary's is the exception....why did I do that?). I got 6 wrong in the first round and have 13 of my sweet 16 left.

I went 28 for 32 and have all 16 left.

UNC won the first round game.

UNC won the First Four. It is an official tournament game, so they are 2-3. UNC lost the "First Round" game. That is why I refer to them as Opening Round (name before First Four) and Round of 64.

If Purdue hangs on looks like Houston (if they beat Gonzaga) will be pretty much playing a road game as a 1 seed in the Sweet 16 (Indianapolis).

I thought Clemson was the one of the two solid ACC teams that could go places.

This is impressive from Purdue but I won't be surprised if they get a little soft and it gets a little close.

Although the last 5ish minutes of the Clemson game maybe showed what the athletic advantage can mean.

I don‘t like Purdue, but this does make Clemson look bad. They have to have a hangover and now realize just how bad their loss is. Too bad they don’t have a cameo of the head coach of Howard to serve as a reminder for 10 years (I know Will Wade is just not the same).
