First Four/Play-In/Opening Round fun facts

Alabama State has played in the round before the First Round twice. They lost both times.

2011 - Lost to UTSA 70-61
2009 - Lost to Morehead State 58-43

None of the other teams playing tonight have played in a Preliminary Round/Pre-First Round (whatever you want to call this Round)

Well, it is the REAL Tournament. It counts as an NCAA Appearance, an NCAA Tournament Win and an NCAA Tournament Loss. Don't forget that Alabama State and St. Francis are Automatic Qualifiers. 100% NCAA Tournament Games.

I know all of that. Automatic Qualifiers don't belong in this pseudo-round. They deserve better.
