Caissie is 3 for his last 8 with a HR and 4 RBIs in the last 3 games...so sure, let's sit him.

Shaw is the hottest hitter on the team...so of course he should ride the bench.

We've done 3 straight against the best team in baseball with an injured Kyle Tucker on the bench...so we better shake things up and reinsert him.

I'm sure there is some sort of rationale for this but its really tough for fans to see this ****.

I get that Shaw is probably due for some rest but why not wait a day until they play the Angels? Two days also seems like not enough time for Tucker to get his groove back. Same as Shaw, why not wait a day and keep another hot bat in the lineup?

I'm sure Craig is doing what he thinks he's best. But if we lose this game, which is probably the most important game of the year so far, and we do so with this lineup he's going to certainly hear about it. I just don't get it.

Great at bat for Swanson

Cassie should have been up all year as the 5th outfielder. There's no reason they couldn't have gotten him 300 AB's this year just by resting the other 4 guys once a week or so.

I'm suspecting a major reason the offense is slumping so bad now is Counsel has played most of these guys into the ground all summer. Brujan, Turner, Berti, and McGuire rarely played so you essentially have 10 guys getting overused.
I was OK with him starting in Iowa if there was not going to be AB for him but when the offense got in a funk and he was swinging a hot bat in Iowa he should of been called up sooner and started to give the OF guys some days off. Especially now that we know they mismanaged Tucker's hand he could have went to the IL and given Caissie some every day starts.

What was the point of putting Tucker back in the lineup after this team just won 3 straight against the best team in baseball??

Counsel's decision-making baffles me. Seriously.

I don't understand this lineup at all. Like this was a huge game, win this and you only 5 back, 4 with the tiebreaker. Instead we run Tucker out there and have two guys that are responsible for winning this series on the bench. He said Tucker needed a few days off, so that is only 2 days? This is crap.
