When Amaya comes back, Should we keep all 3 catchers or send McGuire or Kelly back to Iowa?

It will be an interesting decision, because don't feel there is a need for a 3rd catcher.

But he's been a more productive bat than Turner, Berti or Brujan. If Turner was hitting HR's, it would be a no brainer to send McGuire down or try to trade him. Personally, I would keep McGuire in Chicago and DFA Brujan.

Really excited about Shota being back. Watching his last outing I think he’ll aim to throw 80 pitches. Last week he came back out in the fifth for a beautiful three pitch K to end at 72.

I just saw Brown is going to continue to start at Iowa. That’s a huge mistake if true. He’s not going to start a playoff game for us this year but he could be a valuable bullpen piece. Assad is back in a few weeks so we’ll have depth guys. Hell Wicks has been pretty dominant lately
I'm fine keeping him stretched out in the short term until Shota shows he's healthy and we make a trade or two. Don't expect him to make any more starts in Chicago and hope it doesn't come to that. Excited for him in the bullpen.

Judging by his first innings recently I wouldn’t be too excited seeing him trot out of the bullpen either though.
I'm not worried about the 1st innings translating to the bullpen. The bullpen is just so different. He won't always be facing the top 3 in the order. He won't be trying to conserve energy to go deep into a game. Doesn't need to worry about facing guys multiple times. Don't have 4 days leading up to overthink each outing. etc.
