We got what we paid for. After the all star break and Milwaukee went on that run I figured we were probably toast. Doesn’t help our Ace got hurt and couldn’t pitch post season. Would have really helped

I'm okay with that as long as they take that money and put it to the squad next year and just not put it in Ricketts pockets. That was Tuckers last AB in a Cub uniform and I'm completely ok with that.
Bring back Schwarber. Need a guy who can hit in the clutch.Too many free swingers and lack of situational hitters
I’m actually all for this reunion if we can get him at a decent price.Bring back Schwarber. Need a guy who can hit in the clutch.
I like Matt Shaw but he is at best 25 homerun guy. We should have gone after Suarez at the trade deadlineOr lack there of yes lol
Works for me but then you have Suzuki playing the field most of the games which I can live with but doesn't excite me either. Also quite a few teams will be making a run to get Schwarber I suspect.Bring back Schwarber. Need a guy who can hit in the clutch.
Suarez hasn’t been great in the post season for Seattle. But maybe he would have been better in Chicago. Who knows honestly.I like Matt Shaw but he is at best 25 homerun guy. We should have gone after Suarez at the trade deadline
Nico hit .450 in the playoffs.Suzuki was by far our best hitter in the playoffs and o think he ended up around. 225. Just absolutely garbage offense.
Yeah right. He’s all about making his own moneyI'm okay with that as long as they take that money and put it to the squad next year and just not put it in Ricketts pockets.
There will definitely be a good handful of teams that will be in the bidding for Schawrbs. We will have to outbid someone for him. I don’t know what the max out is for the front office on someone this offseason but I’m going to guess they are going to use their money in the pitching department instead of hitting.Works for me but then you have Suzuki playing the field most of the games which I can live with but doesn't excite me either. Tucker is not much better than Suzuki defensively. Not sure how he won a Gold GloveWorks for me but then you have Suzuki playing the field most of the games which I can live with but doesn't excite me either. Also quite a few teams will be making a run to get Schwarber I suspect.
Tucker was very mediocre in the outfield this year. Had many plays i can remember that should have been made and didn’t get to them. Really overall as a season whole was a disappointment for us. Good player, but not the rockstar we thought.Tucker is not much better than Suzuki defensively. Not sure how he won a Gold Glove
Oh yeah, I forgot about him, he had a bunch of singles but it seemed like Suzuki was the only one who produced any runs. Busch I guess had a couple home runs too but wasn't that great.Nico hit .450 in the playoffs.
Your point is correct though. Outside of those three we got very little.Oh yeah, I forgot about him, he had a bunch of singles but it seemed like Suzuki was the only one who produced any runs. Busch I guess had a couple home runs too but wasn't that great.
Shaw was actually better than Suarez in my opinion.Suarez hasn’t been great in the post season for Seattle. But maybe he would have been better in Chicago. Who knows honestly.
Really didn’t come through in the postseason either…for the most part. No reason to bring him back.Tucker was very mediocre in the outfield this year. Had many plays i can remember that should have been made and didn’t get to them. Really overall as a season whole was a disappointment for us. Good player, but not the rockstar we thought.
I actually think batting average wise while Suarez went to Seattle you are very correct. I think last I saw Suarez was hitting like .195 with Seattle before postseasonShaw was actually better than Suarez in my opinion.
